Cabins:
All guests who need to cancel will be able to receive a refund of the full amount less the value of one night’s stay and the administration fees if cancelled before the 7 days prior to your arrival date. Bookings within the 7 days prior to your arrival are considered final. If your travel plans are up in the air, we recommend that you book with us well in advance to take advantage of our seven day policy.
Camping:
All guests who need to cancel will be able to receive a refund of the full amount less the value of one night’s stay and the administration fees if cancelled before the 7 days prior to your arrival date.
If you are cancelling within 7 days of your arrival date, campers will receive a “rain check” which we will honor on dates that are more suitable for our patrons. We know how difficult it is to do everything on your vacation to-do list. The Ovens is always here when you want to make the trip.
Whilst all attempts will be made to provide campers with preferred sites, we can’t guarantee a specific site.

Fire pits are on each site and are there for your enjoyment, please do not remove or build others on the site. Campfires cannot be left unattended and therefore should be put completely out before you go to bed for the night.
The park is eco-friendly, therefore, please do not burn garbage, food, cans or bottles. If we need to clean out your fire pit for these reasons you will be charged a cleanup fee.
Wood can be purchased from our main office. Due to Provincial law regulations the transfer of outside firewood is not permitted (https://novascotia.ca/natr/forestprotection/dont-move-firewood.asp ). The park abides by the Department of Natural Resources daily burn policies, therefore, no campfires from 8 am to 2 pm daily. Please do not pick any flowers, plants, cut down any of our trees or burn any dead branches or leaves. The Ovens Park maintains a fragile eco-system, any unnecessary disturbance will not be tolerated.
